COMMITTEES 2022/2023
Administrative – Neal Kilbane
Duties: Financial, legal, contracts, By-Laws, Declarations and Rules & Regulations, insurance, log in and track homeowner requests.
Buildings & Grounds – Duane Albro and Steve Purpura
Duties: Structures, electrical, front gate, roads, security system, painting, roofing, gas upgrades, common property infrastructure upgrades. Review homeowner requests for changes to their structure and/or front landscaping and provide recommendations to the full Board.
Pool and Snow Removal – Steve Purpura
Duties: Point of contact for pool issues; oversee seasonal pool opening and closing; monitor pool attendant (ensure duties are understood and adhered to); monitor pool maintenance (chemicals, cover, etc); oversee pool plantings; oversee furniture; umbrellas; monitor the snow removal service; open the entry gates when it snows.
Social/Communications & Clubhouse – Barbara Delvecchio
Duties: meet and greet new homeowners; provide new homeowner orientation; plan and manage community events including refreshments at the Annual Meeting in September.
Point of contact for event requests; manage event requests and scheduling; pre-event inspection; post-event inspection; manage the cleaning service; oversee supplies.
Landscaping – Duane Albro and Steve Purpura
Duties: Community landscaping plans; maintenance of common area lawn/plants/trees; oversight of individual homeowner front yards; maintenance of irrigation; seasonal decorations.
Website – Mary Biancaniello
Duties: Manage website to include regular maintenance, updates and pertinent information relative to communal living at Captain’s Walk.
