The following is meant to provide owners within the Captain’s Walk Community guidance for installation of exterior holiday lighting and decorations for individual homes. We hope that your personal holiday decorations will enhance those the HOA has been purchasing over the last few years, creating a beautiful environment for us all during the holidays.
- Holiday lighting and decorations may be installed the day after Thanksgiving and must be removed no later than January 15th, weather permitting.
- Holiday lighting and decorations are limited to the front of each home. Areas to include front door, entranceway, walkway and pergola area over garages.
- Holiday lighting and decorations may not be placed on lawns or placed upon any common area(s) within the community.
- The following holiday lighting, decorations and installations are not allowed:
- Blow up decorations
- Motorized decorations
- Spotlights
- Decorations with sound (music)
- Holiday lighting and decorations are not allowed to be anchored on the roofs nor may holiday lighting be attached by puncturing the roofs with nails or staples
